This site is recommended by the children of the Colorado library group. Learning to type requires some patience and lots of practice. This site provides numerous great resources at the Introductory level, Intermediate level, the Advanced level, and also Speed Improvement. All resources are available online.

Press the key that is shown in red on the screen.

(Mark Wendell) A letter is shown and you have to type that letter on the keyboard. See how many you can type in 30 seconds. (Long loading, but good activity.)


(3) LETTER DROP

(type falling letters)

Type the letters as they are falling. Go to different levels as you get better. (Long loading.)


(4) WHACK A WEBBLIE

(mouse practice)

Choose the level of play. When you see a �Webblie�, click on him. As you increase the level, the speed of the Webblies to click on speeds up.

(5) COMPUTER: USING
ARROW KEYS

This is a pac man game with a twist. In this game you need to control the Math Man to eat all the ghosts. You can only eat the ghosts after you have eaten a special food. When a special food is eaten, you will be given a formula, and you can only eat the ghost with the answer to the formula. When the game advances, there will be more ghosts and the formulas will be harder. Use the arrow keys to move the Math Man around in the maze.


(6) COMPUTER SKILLS: Mouse

Advanced level. Keep the Dragon bouncing by clicking on him and catch as many turbos as you can.


(7) COMPUTER SKILLS: Mouse

Connect the dots. Student uses mouse to connect dots. If one number is missed, you must start over. Good practice handling the mouse.

Scholastic: Move your mouse to throw darts at the balloons. Good mouse practice game.

Arrow Keys


Scholastic: Use arrow keys to move the Bone cousins around the maze. Collect power dots and don�t get caught by the rat creatures. Once the first level is done, the game moves to more advanced levels.

Mouse Practice


Scholastic: Throw snowballs at the weird creatures that show up. The more creatures you hit, the faster the game goes. Good mouse practice.

(15) TYPING SKILLS:

You find a word on the left top corner white box. And you will see few bubbles raising from the bottom to the top. You have to type the word correctly before the bubbles reach the top. Press next or space bar for the next work.
